DISCOVER HARMONY: JOIN US FOR A DAY OF SINGING
Area 2 of Harmony, Incorporated, which is an international organization of female a cappella singers specializing in barbershop style harmony, will be hosting a Discover Harmony Day, from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on October 5, 2024 at the UCC Church, 300 Appleton Street, Holyoke, MA. We are excited to introduce the Holyoke area to Harmony, Inc. and a cappella singing in the barbershop style. A youth a cappella workshop for 14-20 year-olds and an adult a cappella workshop for 21 year-olds and above will be offered for all genders. Each ensemble of sopranos and altos will learn two songs in four-part harmony. Pre-registration for these free workshops is required and available at www.area2harmony.org. A free public concert by the Silk’n Sounds Chorus, Area 2 quartets, and the workshop ensembles will culminate the day of learning, starting at 3:00 PM, also at the UCC Church. Everyone is welcome and no registration is required to enjoy the concert. For more information please email director@area2harmony.org.
